Suspect in Jalisco apprehended for sexually exploiting his nephew, sharing explicit footage on the deep web
In a shocking turn of events, the Jalisco Prosecutor's Office has arrested two individuals, Alfredo Salvador "N" and Jessica Nohemí "N", for their alleged involvement in the sexual abuse of a 6-year-old boy. The arrests, made in collaboration with the FBI, took place on Thursday morning in various locations across the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area.
The arrest of Alfredo Salvador "N", the boy's uncle, was confirmed by the state prosecutor, Salvador González de los Santos, in a press conference. He faces charges including child sexual abuse, corruption of minors, and child maltreatment, which could result in more than 25 years of imprisonment. Jessica Nohemí "N", the child's mother, was charged with physical and psychological child maltreatment, potentially facing up to five years in prison.
The investigation began after an anonymous report from the FBI in the United States concerning a video showing the abuse. The authorities confirmed that the videos included explicit sexual acts between the uncle and the minor, and showed a video call involving two males engaging in abusive acts. Both defendants were linked to the case, with Alfredo Salvador "N" being given preventive detention for one year, and Jessica Nohemí "N" for six months while proceedings continue.
The Jalisco Prosecutor's Office is executing search warrants in two homes: one in Arenales Tapatios, Zapopan, and another in Lomas de Tejeda, Tlajomulco, to gather more evidence. Alfredo Salvador "N" was located and arrested in the Municipality of Tlajomulco de Zuñiga, while Jessica Nohemí "N" was detained in Zapopan.
The two detainees are awaiting a date for the hearing of the formulation of the indictment. The state prosecutor's office received a letter from the Legal Advisor of the FBI on August 8, indicating that an anonymous source had reported the existence of child sexual abuse video material on a forum on the "dark web."
