Sochi's mutilated husky's father demonstrates navigating techniques for the dog
A Little Boy's Journey Outdoors After a Tough Fight
Take a stroll with us as we follow the heartwarming tale of a brave young lad named, let's call him Max, on his first outing since a traumatic dog attack back in February. The breath-taking footage, captured on April 30, shows Max and his father taking a leisurely walk around the internal grounds of Moscow's Russian Children's Clinical Hospital. Max, still wearing a medical mask, seems to have found a favorite spot in the hospital courtyard.
"Let's explore the territory, buddy? Give a friendly wave to everyone we meet. Shall we move on? This is our hospital territory. Listen, the birds are singing, the sun's shining, it rained earlier, and here you are, tucked away in the gazebo," Max's father says affectionately.
A group of concerned individuals, rallying together to support Max, frequently share their positive comments and well-wishes in a funding community. Their messages are filled with encouragement, praising Max for his new milestones and wishing him a speedy recovery.
"Good morning everyone! Max, darling, have a great day, stay hopeful, trust in the best, and may God guide you! Hearing your voice was such a joy for me and everyone else! You've started eating and talking, that's tremendous victories. Every day will bring more triumphs! We all trust in you, sweetheart!" one of the group members, Ekaterina, shares warmly.
According to recent reports by the "Kuban 24" internet portal, a similar incident took place on February 26 in Sochi, at the SNT "Aviaktor". Two dogs viciously attacked a young boy, causing severe facial injuries. The boy was air-lifted to a Krasnodar hospital, while the dogs were put down. At the time of the attack, the dogs had not eaten for nearly two weeks. A criminal investigation was launched, leading to the detainment and interrogation of the dog owner in Sochi, followed by formal charges.
Max was transported to Moscow's Russian Children's Clinical Hospital for treatment after the incident. He emerged from an artificial coma on March 6, opened his eyes, and spoke to his father for the first time. The first facial reconstruction surgery took place on March 18, which lasted a grueling 14 hours. Towards the beginning of April, Max's father announced that the young boy would need a second transplant.
Max's upper lip reconstruction is scheduled for a month of rehabilitation at the Federal Children's Rehabilitation Center "Korablik" in Moscow. According to the medical team, the procedure is complex and will be performed in several stages.
Stay tuned for more updates on Max's remarkable recovery, hoping for bright days ahead filled with laughter and joy!
