Residents of eight districts in Nizhny Novgorod and 12 municipalities will ride health trains in June.
Fresh Take:
Get ready, folks! In just a few weeks, Nizhny Novgorod residents from select districts have a fantastic health opportunity coming their way. Starting June 2, mobile diagnostic complexes, named after medical mavericks and native heroes, will be cruising ‘Health Trains' through the region. These mobile clinics are based at the N.A. Semashko Regional Clinical Hospital and will serve eight districts in Nizhny Novgorod, along with twelve other municipalities.
Here's the run-down: From June 2 to 6, doctors will make their rounds in First of May, Vtorotynsky, Sharanzhsky, Soviet, and Kstovsky districts of Nizhny Novgorod, as well as the neighboring districts. Then, from June 9 to 11, they'll visit Divovsky, Bogorodsky, Tonkinsky, Kanavinsky, and Leninsky districts. During June 16 to 20, Arzamas, Pavlovsky, Tonkinsky districts, along with Sormovsky and Prioksky districts in Nizhny Novgorod will experience the ‘Health Trains.' Between June 23 to 26, doctors will treat patients in Shakhunsky, Dalnekonstantinovsky, Vachsky, Nizhny Novgorod, and Avtozavodsky districts.
On these ‘Health Trains,' patients can meet with specialists such as therapists, cardiologists, neurologists, ophthalmologists, surgeons, urologists, gynecologists, otolaryngologists, dentists, and more. Get ready to undergo various tests like fluorography, mammography, electrocardiography, ultrasounds, and lab tests. You don't want to miss out – thousands of people have already benefited from these mobile clinics since the beginning of the year!
Curious about the inspiration behind this revolutionary project? Look no further than our humble Governor, Gleb Nikitin, who has been championing this initiative since 2018. It all ties into the new national project, "Long and Active Life," which aims to boost life expectancy by 2030. This massive endeavor includes modernizing clinics, attracting qualified medical personnel, improving emergency care, launching national research centers, and much more!
For the latest updates on the ‘Health Trains' schedule, be sure to check out the regional health ministry's website at: https://zdrav-nnov.ru/informatsiya/poezda-zdorovya/.
While the exact schedule for June has been released, further updates on the "Long and Active Life" project are still to be announced. Stay tuned for more updates and (hopefully) improvements in healthcare across the region! 😊
