Rescue Successfully Undertaken at Elevation of 2000 Meters for Visitor
In a dramatic turn of events, a 41-year-old woman named Elena was rescued by emergency services after falling ill during a hiking trip in the Bzherpinskiy karst near Krasnaya Polyana.
The incident occurred during a hiking trip with a group of three people. Elena, the affected hiker, was assessed as critically ill by responding emergency services.
The YURPSO MCHS reported the incident, and emergency services from MCHS and Kuban-SPASS swiftly decided to evacuate Elena by helicopter. The evacuation was carried out promptly, and first aid was administered on board the Ka-32 helicopter.
Upon arrival in the city, Elena was handed over to medical professionals for further treatment.
Interestingly, a separate incident involved a tourist who had gone missing in the mountains in Sochi. The search for the missing individual lasted a week before they were found.
