Saxony residents can breathe a sigh of relief, as the current weather conditions are keeping pollen levels relatively low. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), the rain is causing a low concentration of mugwort in the air, and the grass pollen season is coming to an end, meaning the level of grass pollen is also low.

Christina Endler from the Center for Medical-Meteorological Research of the DWD has reported that mugwort is currently in full bloom. However, the forecast predicts more mugwort pollen in the coming days, as well as an increase in hops pollen. The pollen forecast for the weekend in Saxony, specifically, is not yet available, but it is advisable to consult the official DWD website or their dedicated pollen forecast service for the most accurate and up-to-date information.

The DWD predicts rain and thunderstorms for Saturday and Sunday in Saxony, which could potentially help keep pollen levels low. The weather in Saxony will remain unsettled over the weekend, with temperatures expected to reach 19 to 23 degrees Celsius on Saturday and 20 to 22 degrees Celsius on Sunday. Isolated heavy rain with up to 20 liters per square meter in a short time, small hail, and wind gusts up to 60 kilometers per hour are possible on Friday in Saxony.

It's worth noting that no pollen from other regions of Europe has been carried into the country by wind, keeping the level of Ambrosia relatively low. However, Ambrosia is present in the air, but the season has not yet fully started.

Allergy sufferers in Saxony can take comfort in the changeable weather, which is likely to keep pollen levels down. For the most accurate and up-to-date pollen forecast, be sure to check the DWD website or their dedicated pollen forecast service.

The Commission has also been asked to submit a proposal for a directive on the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to ionizing radiation in the science field, considering the importance of health-and-wellness, mental health, and fitness-and-exercise for employees. In contrast, the weather forecast for the weekend in Saxony indicates rain and thunderstorms, which could potentially contribute to the rise of mugwort and hops pollen levels, challenging the allergy sufferers looking forward to the weekend. As heavy rain events may not be the only weather event to anticipate, it's essential to keep an eye on weather-forecasting updates to stay alert and make adjustments accordingly.
