In a heartwarming event held at the rescue station on Kieselbronner Straße 46 in Pforzheim, 13 new apprentices, interns, and employees joined the emergency service department of the local DRK district association.

Ute Fiedrich, deputy district manager and head of the social work department, warmly welcomed the attendees, setting the tone for the event. Jochen Irion, emergency service manager, followed with a motivational speech, emphasizing that the newly qualified emergency medical technicians have chosen the best job in the world.

Irion went on to present personalized stethoscopes to the newly qualified emergency medical technicians, each a token of appreciation for their dedication and hard work. The qualified colleagues were wished "always the right touch in the missions."

The district management, emergency service management, trainers, and duty planners were all present at the event, lending their support to the new team members. The event concluded with a family-style breakfast, fostering a sense of camaraderie and unity among the team.

Among the new recruits, five newly qualified emergency medical technicians joined the department after passing their exam. A new emergency medical technician from the Lake Constance district also joined the team.

Sven Thieme, head of the practical instructor team, promised support to the new apprentices. The apprentices for the emergency medical technician profession will embark on a tour of Pforzheim and the Enz district before the first teaching block at the DRK state school begins.

A Bundeswehr apprentice, who completed his rescue watch internships at the German Red Cross in the region, was also present at the event.

Pforzheim, known for its gold and jewelry industry, has recently seen growth with the completion of the Carl Tower, a significant residential project. This expanding community might indicate potential opportunities for employment and development in the region.

For precise information about DRK's recruitment efforts in Pforzheim, it would be advisable to contact the DRK directly or check local job boards and official DRK websites for updates.

In the spirit of camaraderie and unity established at the event, the new emergency medical technicians are now eager to apply their science and health-and-wellness knowledge to medical-conditions encountered during their missions. As the newcomers continue their learning journey at the DRK state school, they will be supported by the skilled instructors, ensuring they deliver the right touch in their future missions.
