Flu and ARVI Prevention Hotline Launched in Magadan

In an effort to combat the upcoming flu and ARVI season, the Magadan Regional Department of Rospotrebnadzor and regional healthcare institutions have teamed up with the Magadan Regional Consumer Protection Authority to launch a special hotline. This hotline will be operational from September 22 to October 3, 2025.

The hotline, which can be reached at 8 (4132) 60-05-06 (for the epidemiology department of the Magadan Regional Consumer Protection Authority) and 8 (4132) 65-09-33 (for the FSBU 'Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Magadan Region'), will provide valuable information on preventing infectious diseases such as influenza and ARVI.

Specialists will be on hand to offer guidance on the main rules of prevention, including wearing masks, observing temperature regimes in premises, and other measures. They will also provide consultations on where to get vaccinated, whether to combine vaccines, and which strains are included in the vaccine.

In addition, the hotline will offer recommendations to parents on how to protect children from colds. Employees will be available to answer questions and provide advice on a wide range of topics related to flu and ARVI prevention.

The hotline will be operational daily from 10:00 to 17:00, with a break from 13:00 to 14:00. For those needing assistance outside of these hours, the Federal Consumer Protection Hotline can be contacted 24/7 at 8-800-555-49-43.

This initiative is part of a larger effort to protect the health and wellbeing of the people of Magadan during the flu and ARVI season. By providing accurate and up-to-date information, the hotline aims to help individuals make informed decisions about their health and take the necessary steps to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.

So, if you have any questions or concerns about flu and ARVI prevention, be sure to give the hotline a call. Your health is important, and the specialists are here to help!
