Giessen Seniors Fair 2025: A Comprehensive Event for Older Adults and the Community

The Round Table Aging in Giessen, a local alliance of institutions, associations, and honorary initiatives, is excited to announce the Giessen Seniors Fair, taking place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Congress Hall from 10 am to 4 pm. This event is directed towards seniors, their relatives, and interested and professional audiences from the region, and admission is free.

The fair will feature a diverse exhibition program with information on various topics such as health, leisure, care, daily living aids, safety, provision, and funerals. Local initiatives and associations will present their offers for seniors in the Street of Engagement. Professional service providers will be present to offer consulting services and provide helpful tips directly on-site.

The event will also include a framework program that caters to different interests. Line dancing and a quieter variant of seated dance will be offered for those who enjoy moving to the beat. For those seeking a more relaxed experience, a bistro for drinks and snacks will be available. A small tour can be undertaken with the rickshaw.

For visitors who require sign language interpretation, a sign language interpreter can be requested for individual accompaniment in the exhibition. The fair is designed to be barrier-free, ensuring all visitors can comfortably participate.

The Round Table Aging in Giessen is committed to creating suitable offers for all needs of older people and making them transparent for all interested parties. They are also an impulse giver for the implementation of recommendations from the elderly care plan. Their goal is to develop a new culture of aging and contribute to a differentiated representation and consideration of this stage of life.

The Round Table Aging in Giessen is a platform for exchange and networking of actors in Giessen who provide offers for and with older people. They dedicate themselves to a different focus topic each year and annually plan and organise the lecture series "Aging in Giessen - cloudy to cheerful" and the seniors' exhibition.

We invite everyone to join the Giessen Seniors Fair 2025 and discover the wealth of resources and opportunities available for older adults in our community. Let's come together to celebrate, learn, and share in the spirit of a new culture of aging.
