Solidified Future for DRK Psychiatric Clinics
Guaranteed Continuation of German Red Cross Specialized Hospitals Operations - Guaranteed continued operation of specialized DRK medical facilities
Wave goodbye to concerns about the future of mental health care at the DRK Hospital Association South-West's specialized and day clinics across four Rhineland-Palatinate locations. The Valeara Group has officially assumed control of facilities in Worms, Bad Kreuznach, Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, and Daun, as announced by the insolvency administrator of the DRK organization.
The transition commenced at the start of June, ensuring seamless continuation of patient care. Rest assured, no layoffs are on the horizon for the team of 32 employees in Worms, 33 in Bad Kreuznach, and 121 in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler/Daun. Previously, SWR reported on this matter.
Based in Bottrop, North Rhine-Westphalia, the Valeara Group offers healthcare solutions in the specific fields of psychiatry, neurology, and psychotherapy. They currently employ approximately 700 professionals across twelve German locations.
Meanwhile, merger and acquisition discussions continue for the hospitals under the DRK Hospital Association roof. The Neuwied facility has been transferred to the Marienhaus Group, a municipal carrier is in the works for the one in Alzey, and negotiations are ongoing for the other locations.
