In City Clinic No. 21, an Open-Door Day for Individuals with Disabilities Stirs Waves 🌊
Stepping into the bustling City Clinic No. 21, the air was filled with a unique energy as an open-door day for individuals with disabilities unfolded. Doctors, both general and specialists, were on hand, offering their expertise without any prior appointments. Placing the spotlight on personal health was the brainchild of Natalia Rakhal'skaya, a "Nur Otan" party member and chief physician, as reported by the Almaty city branch of the "Nur Otan" party.
Approximately 15 eager patients sought medical help on-site, while the rest were visited at home based on their specific needs. In total, around 50 individuals benefited from this thoughtful initiative.
"It's no secret that individuals with disabilities can breeze through the queues on regular days," explained Natalia Rakhal'skaya. "The main objective of this event, however, is to offer not just the therapy team, but also specialists, all under one roof, on a walk-in basis."
An impressive array of specialists were available for consultations, such as neurologists, cardiologists, otolaryngologists, surgeons, urologists, oncologists-mammologists, endocrinologists, and instruments for internal organ ultrasounds and mammography as well. Specialists in social work and psychology were also present to address any social concerns and offer guidance.
Rosa Merbaeva, a grateful pensioner, shared her thoughts, "I don't currently face any health issues, but I decided to come in for check-ups just to play it safe. They ran tests for sugar levels, urine acidity, cholesterol, and everything came back normal."
Sadly, not every story had a happy ending. Some patients required hospitalization following their consultations.
It's worth mentioning that a primary party organization, "Densauyik-21," was formed within the city clinic, boasting over a hundred members of the "Nur Otan" party.
Strict sanitary guidelines were observed throughout the event to ensure the safety and well-being of all attendees.
