Cyclists can now sign up for the "Bike Lower - 2025" event
The city of Nizhny Novgorod is gearing up for an exciting event this August, as the "Velo Nizhny - 2025" festival is set to take place on the 3rd. Organised by ANO "Chain Reaction" with the support of the Ministry of Sports of the Nizhny Novgorod region and the project office of ANO "Center for Sports Management and Development in the Nizhny Novgorod region", this festival aims to promote physical culture, sports, a healthy lifestyle, and cycling, while uniting families and city residents.
The festival will involve a 17 km bike ride, with the start and finish taking place at the stadium on Strilkova Street. The route of the bike ride will take participants through the Kanavinsky Bridge, Lower Volga Embankment, Gorky Rowing Canal embankment, and back to the starting point. The turnaround point for the bike ride is at house 112A on the Gorky Rowing Canal embankment.
Registration for the festival is available online and ends at 23:00 on August 2. Participation in the festival is free. The collection of start packages will take place on August 3, from 14:00 to 15:30.
