In a recent development, the children's camp "Solyonychiy Gorodok" located at 2, Gorky Street, Uhta, Republic of Komi, has been temporarily suspended for 60 days. The decision was made following an unscheduled inspection by the territorial department of Rospotrebnadzor in Uhta.

The inspection, conducted by Alexander Povalishina in June 2025, revealed that the camp, run by LLC "Center for Rehabilitation of Disabled," failed to comply with several sanitary-epidemiological rules and norms, as evidenced by its failure to provide health certificates and report to Rospotrebnadzor.

Specifically, the camp admitted children without a health certificate, including information on the absence of contact with infectious disease patients within the last 21 calendar days. Moreover, the Centre for Rehabilitation of Disabled did not inform Rospotrebnadzor about the number of children in the camp, nor did they follow the necessary procedures in regards to the health and safety of the children.

In addition, the Centre for Rehabilitation of Disabled did not adhere to the sanitary-epidemiological rules and norms, as required by the Federal Law "On Sanitary and Epidemiological Wellbeing of the Population." They also failed to notify the territorial department of Rospotrebnadzor in Uhta about its operating hours or the number of children.

Local authorities have urged the Centre for Rehabilitation of Disabled to rectify these issues to ensure the health and safety of the children and to avoid any future suspensions.

For those seeking the latest updates on this situation, it's recommended to check local news websites or media outlets in the Republic of Komi, official government websites, or follow local government or health department accounts on social media platforms like VK or Telegram. Alternatively, contacting the local health department or the camp directly may provide more specific details about the situation.
