CarePlus GbR Closes Home Care Service; Care Centre Holten Expands

CarePlus GbR in Oberhausen is closing its home care service due to the partners' age, leading to a significant change in local home care provisions. From 1 October, over 500 customers will receive care in their own homes and more than 600 will be advised on their care situation by the Care Centre Holten, which is expanding its marketplace services.

The Care Centre Holten, part of the Lucial Holding GmbH & Co. KG, will take over the home care service previously run by CarePlus GbR. This acquisition will see over 90 care recipients and around 150 consultation customers continue to receive seamless care. The Care Centre Holten, already a prominent player in the region, will further strengthen its position as one of the largest private home care providers in Oberhausen and the surrounding area.

The senior housing community in Duisburg previously cared for by CarePlus will also join the Care Centre Holten's portfolio. This integration will allow the Care Centre Holten to care for over 500 customers in their own homes and advise over 600 care-dependent people on their care situation and care grades. Existing contracts will be honoured, but some relatives may still face challenges due to a lack of support.

The Care Centre Holten's expansion, through the acquisition of CarePlus GbR's home care service and the integration of the Duisburg senior housing community, will significantly impact local home care provisions. While many services will continue seamlessly, some relatives may still require additional support.
