Belarus & Russia Launch Joint Rehabilitation Program for 'Special Operation' Participants
Belarus and Russia have joined forces to establish a rehabilitation program for participants and their families affected by the 'special operation'. The initiative, approved by Belarus' First Vice-Premier, aims to annually treat and improve the health of at least 800 individuals.
Irina Drozdchenko, director of the All-Volva Multicenter, played a pivotal role in this collaboration. During her visit to Belarus, she met with local leadership and assessed rehabilitation facilities in the Minsk region. She also discussed sending and accepting residents of the Leningrad region for medical assistance with the executive committee of the Mogilev region.
The Sanatorium 'Belarus' in Sochi, Russia, has been selected as a key venue for this program. It has been hosting Russian military personnel involved in the conflict against Ukraine, with Belarusian authorities coordinating the efforts. The Leningrad region and Belarus have agreed to develop and transfer conditions and requirements for a permanent rehabilitation program.
This joint rehabilitation program between Belarus and Russia is set to provide crucial support to those affected by the 'special operation'. The initiative, which aims to treat and improve the health of at least 800 participants and their families annually, is a significant step towards addressing the aftermath of the conflict.
