Authorities Salvage an Infant
==========================================================
On a fateful evening of September 17, 2025, two police officers in the town of Erle, found themselves responding to an unusual call. The emergency call, received around 7:20 PM, reported a two-week-old infant who had stopped breathing.
Upon arrival at Karlstraße, within two minutes of the call, the officers—a 29-year-old police commissioner and a 37-year-old police chief commissioner—found the infant not breathing. Without hesitation, they immediately administered CPR.
The incident occurred near the infant's bathtub, and the mother, believing it might have been the cause, was also present at the scene. The officers' quick actions revived the infant at the scene, and within minutes, they transported both the infant and his mother to a hospital for further care.
The officers' actions were crucial in saving the life of the two-week-old infant. This incident was an unusual call for the two officers, as it involved a medical emergency rather than a typical police matter. The community of Erle is grateful for the selfless actions of these officers, who displayed remarkable courage and professionalism in a critical situation.
