3 Injured in Severe B83 Crash: Medical Emergency Suspected
A severe traffic accident on the B83 in Calden on Tuesday morning involved three vehicles and left three people with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred around 6:50 AM and closed the road until around 12 PM for cleanup and investigations.
The accident involved a 43-year-old woman's Smart and a Hyundai driven by a 39-year-old man. A 75-year-old man driving a Ford turned right onto the B83 and entered the opposite lane, causing a collision with the other vehicles. Fortunately, a small school bus was also involved but had no children or other passengers at the time. All three individuals were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Authorities suspect the 75-year-old man may have had a medical emergency that led to the incident. The vehicles were severely damaged and had to be towed away. The road was closed for several hours to allow for cleanup and recovery work.
Three people were seriously injured in the accident. Further investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the collision. The search results do not provide information about the specific leader of the Polizeipräsidium Nordhessen in Kassel who was likely involved in overseeing the response to the incident.
